2024 Rosé
The first 2024 Solvero wine to be released, our Rosé, hit the shelves on Easter weekend, 2024. Made in BC by Alison, our Winemaker. She was on site in Oregon to manage the entire process from vineyard selection, to harvest, to pressing. She continued this oversight when the pressed juice was brought back to the winery to be made into wine. You can see the visual steps in the process in the photo slider below.
We choose our land and soil carefully, cultivating and caring for it in a way that allows us to translate what the vineyards we work with yields, as honestly as possible. We use minimally-invasive farming techniques because we strive to make wines that represent the natural environment surrounding the vineyards. The grapes for our first 2024 vintage release come from the Aebischer Vineyard in Oregon. This vineyard was carefully selected by our Winemaker as the source of our Pinot Noir for this rosé. You can see additional photos of this vineyard in the photo slider below.
This beautiful site is located in the Chehalem Mountains AVA in Oregon and boasts a high elevation, an east-facing slope with views of Mt. Hood and the Willamette Valley. Much like our vineyard in Garnet Valley, this location is known to preserve natural acidity and to develop optimal ripeness in the fruit. The terroir really speaks in this wine and is true to our core philosophy in representing truth in soil. We have made 200 cases of this dry rosé, available to purchase as of April 20, 2025!
